Zippers

Zippers are a type of closure mechanism used in products such as clothing, bags, and shoes. By bringing two fabric pieces together and allowing them to be opened and closed, zippers provide a practical and quick way to open and close items. Zippers typically consist of metal or plastic teeth and are composed of several main components:
1. Teeth: Located on both sides of the zipper, the interlocking teeth allow the zipper to be in an open or closed position.
2. Pulls: These are the handle-like structures on both sides of the product. By pulling these, we can move the zipper.
3. Slider: The part on top of the zipper that moves when we close or open the zipper, bringing the teeth together to close the product or separating them to open it. This piece controls the zipper's opening and closing.

Zippers have a wide range of applications:
1. Clothing: Zippers are commonly used in clothing such as pants, skirts, dresses, jackets, and shirts. They facilitate easy putting on and taking off of garments.
2. Bags: Zippers are utilized in bags like backpacks, handbags, and wallets, ensuring secure storage of items inside the bag.
3. Shoes: Shoes can be equipped with zippers, making it easier to put on and take off footwear.
4. Home Textiles: Zippers can be employed in home textile products like curtains, pillows, and cushions. This makes it easy to replace the inner pillow or filling material.
5. Furniture: Some furniture products also use zippers, facilitating the removal or washing of, for example, cushion covers.
6. Sports and Outerwear: Zippers are commonly used in sports apparel, jackets, windbreakers, and raincoats. Zippers serve as a practical and effective closure mechanism in various fields.
